We had a fine day in the Lord as we presented the ministry to two churches.

In the morning we were with Berthoud Baptist Church and Pastor Douglas Brown in Berthoud, Colorado.  This is a mission church being planted out of Victory Baptist Church in Denver, CO.  The Lord blessed.

In the evening we had the privilege to present and preach at Tri-town Baptist Church (Pastor Don Veasey) in Frederick, Colorado.  We thank the Lord for the opportunity to minister in both these churches.

On Sunday we had the pleasure to be with Heritage Baptist Church in Pueblo, Colorado.  Pastor and Mrs. Bigler and all the members were very kind and interested in the work of church planting in Canada through Chegoggin Baptist Church.

We presented the ministry in the Sunday School hour.  Then we ministered in music in the morning meeting.  In the evening we ministered in music again and I preached the Word.

Walk in the truth my friends.

Mountain Hope Baptist Church is located in Woodland Park, Colorado, (elevation over 7,000 feet) just west of Colorado Springs in the mountains.  This area was affected by the forest fire that have been so prevalent this summer.  The fires got to within about two miles of Woodland Park at one point in July and the residents had to evacuate.

We had a great time with Pastor Tom Smith and the members of Mountain Hope Baptist Church presenting, singing, and preaching the Word of God.  In the picture you see their new auditorium, which was just completed a few weeks ago.  We are very thankful for their hospitality.

On Sunday we visited two churches.

We arrived in Platteville on Saturday and had a fine time getting to know Pastor Donald Smith and his wife.  On Sunday, in the AM, we were guests of Pastor Donald Smith and Platteville Baptist Church of Platteville, Colorado.  The Lord gave us a blessed time during the Sunday School and morning meeting.

We rejoice in the fellowship of the truth that we find.  It is our desire to partner with churches of like faith and practice.  What we believe is important.

In the afternoon we headed south to Denver.  We had a fine time with Pastor Marcus Bellah and Victory Baptist Church in their 5PM and 6PM meetings.  We stayed with the Bellah's Sunday night.

We are humbled at the loving hospitality to which we are the recipients.

I wanted to share a bit of Colorado's beauty with you all.  The panorama was taken at approximately 12,600 feet above sea level.

On Wednesday morning we left Salida, CO and headed north and then east to Atwood, Kansas.  About a six hour drive.

We had an excellent meeting, lasting almost two hours, with Atwood Baptist Church and Pastor Jerry Hill.  I preached that the confidence and love to minister to people comes first from God's work in us (individually and corporately, as a church) and that this makes us fit for God to work through us.

We are again honoured as Pastor Hill expressed their desire to support us.

Early August Missions Conference

We have been blessed to be at the first annual missions conference of Old Paths Baptist Church in Salida, Colorado with Pastor Mike Thornsley, Jr. and crew.  What a blessed time, as the Lord graciously showed up each night.  It was good to sit under the preaching.

On Sunday (08/05) morning we presented the ministry, sang, and preached.

[Sunday evening we drove over to First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley (Pastor Allen Payne) in Colorado Springs, CO and presented to this church.  FBC is a veteran in missions. Pastor Payne served ten years in Wales as a church planter.  ]

Monday and Tuesday was spent back in Salida fellowshipping during the day and in the conference at night.  Again, we were able to feed on good preaching.  Of course, Salida is in the Rocky Mountains (approx. 7,000 feet elevation).  I am sorry you were not there.  Take a look...

1/2 miles hike took us to this water fall.

We were honoured as Pastor Thornsley expressed their desire to take us on for support.  Churches supporting us means sacrifice and commitment.  We are humbled and thank the Lord for each supporting church.

St. Paul, Arkansas

Whiteriver Baptist Church in St. Paul, AR has supported us for over a year now.  We have been staying in their missions house for the last week.  Thursday evening we had a fine time at Brother Kenny Hicks' house eating homemade Mexican.  The kids rode horses.  We are very grateful to have been invited.

We were still in Arkansas, only today we were in Heber Springs with the folks of Clearview Baptist Church (Pastor Rick Dawson).  We are very thankful for the opportunity to present the ministry to churches.
In July we had seven meetings.  Four of those seven church that we visited this past month expressed that they were recommending us for /or under serious consideration for support.  Keep praying.

Clearview Baptist Church was named for the view from the front of their church building.  Take a look.  This is Sugar Loaf Mountain new Heber Springs, Arkansas.  I took this in the morning and we were experiencing thunderstorms and rain--badly needed rain.
Here is a timelapse video.

Hot Springs, Arkansas is the location of the first National Park in the USA.  People have come from far and wide to bathe in the mineral waters.  There are numerous bath houses where you can soak in a tub of hot mineral water piped in from the Hot Springs.

We came to Hot Springs for a Sunday morning meeting with Pastor Rodney Dennis and the members of New Testament Baptist Church.  We had a blessed time of fellowship in the Word.
