Fort Worth, Texas and cattle go together. Millions of cattle have gone through this city, and the historic stockyards area is now a tourist, dinning, museum, and shopping district. They still keep a small herd of Texas Longhorn cattle and drive them down a section of street twice daily for visitors to see. Although not in this video collage, we were able to peek into a cattle auction where real cattle were being bought and sold. The cattle are now present at the auction via video monitors, but the auctioneer, buyers, and such are still there in person, complete with Stetson hats.

Week Two
Greetings everyone.
What a fine week we have had.
Sunday morning, January 23: We were at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. Pastor P.D. Taylor, Assittant Pastor Lewis, and the whole church received us with friendship. We showed our DVD, Sandy, Natalie, and Adam sang. I preached in both Sunday School and morning service. It was a blessing to meet and fellowship with these folks. They love missions.
Sunday evening, January 23: We went to Metropolitan Baptist Chruch in Fort Worth, TX. We showed our DVD, Adam sang, and I preached from John 13:34-35. We have found and made friends at all the churches we have visited to date, which is incredably valuable to us.
Our Sunday travels took us through the center of Dallas. Here are a couple of pictures taken from our car as we drove on by.

Dallas is not as big as Toronto, but seems to be a well laid out and clean city.
I am writting this post on Wednesday, January 26th, and this afternoon we head off to Willow Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Edgewood, Texas (Pastor Craig Locke) to present and preach. We are very excited to have the privilege of being received by these churches.

Week Number One
Greeting all. We have come past the first week in Texas. The Lord is blessing us.
We have had two blessed meetings; one Sunday, January 16th at Radgers Baptist Church in Garland, TX. The other was at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Roanoke, TX on Wednesdaythe 19th. We were able to present the ministry at each of these churches and were hospitably received.
At Rodgers Baptist Church we were reunited with friends. We got to see Pastor Ron Thomas again after 8+ years, and had the blessing of meeting his wife for the first time. We also got to meet the Dearmore brothers face to face. The Lord used James Dearmore in our lives a number of years ago, and I have deavoured Roy Dearmore's book, Biblical Missions.
We are staying for the next four weeks in the missions house of Lake Worth Baptist Church. The community of Lake Worth is a suburb to the north of Fort Worth. Here is a picture of the house.
It is two bedrooms, bath, kitchen, eating area, and living room--very comfortable. We are just a couple of miles from a joint US Air Force and Marines base and every day is like an airshow. We don't mind that. As far as sight seeing the only place we have been to yet is Cabelas, which even if you do not want to buy anything is worth seeing for the mounted animal displays. The store is only 20 minutes away.
Because we have the missions house we are able to buy groceries and cook our own food. Sunday, though, we went out to a Texas BBQ restraunt. I would like to invite ya'll down and well go together. Beef ribs cooked slowly for two days are very good.
We are praying the Lord Jesus that He will make us a blessing here.

Day 5
Hello Brethren,
We left Arkadelphis, AR and made it Lake Worth, TX. We were greeted heartily by Pastor Jerry Locke of Lake Worth Baptist Church, who are allowing us to stay in their missions house for an extended period. What a blessing. We drove 294 miles. That makes a trip total of 2,656 miles, or 4250 kilometers.
Thank the Lord for safety and provision.

Day 4
Hello all from Arkadelphia, Arkansas. We began the day leaving Knoxville, TN and drove 9.5hours and 593mi. to Arkadelphia. We are only 6-7 hours away from Dallas/Forth Worth, TX and our destination at the missions house provided by Lake Worth Baptist Church.
We drove through Nashville and Memphis, TN; across the Missippippi River; and, through Little Rock, AR. As we drove down the I-30 highway this evening, looking into the orange sunset, and with Texas only 1.5 hours away I almost decided to keep going. But, reasonablness kicked in and we parked for the night.
