The Churn is a costal rock formation in Overton, Yarmouth County, NS, Canada. When the winds are blowing strongly from the west, as they have been lately, it drives the surf directly toward 'The Churn' rock formation. As the powerful wind-driven surf rolls toward the land it encounters a rock ledge at water level (this changes with the tide), which runs parallel to the shoreline. The surf dumps over this ridge into a hollow and them smashes into the shear face of the shore rock, causing the north Atlantic sea water to shoot high into the air.
The power of the ocean far out weights the power of man. And the power of the ocean is like a drop of dew in light of the Almighty power of the Living God--Jehovah.
Just a microscopic speck of God's awesome power! Thank you for taking the time to post this!
