| The Arch at St. Louis, MO. |
Eastern Canada is a very comfortable place to live as far as weather goes. Not much for extreme temperatures. In Nova Scotia a heat wave is 85 degrees F. Today as we travelled out of Pennsylvania, accross Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and into Missouri we felt and saw the temperature get as high as 107 degrees F. Wow.
The car themometer was reading 103 degrees F as we crossed the Mississippi River at St. Louis, MO and Sandy snapped this pic.
We thank the Lord for seeing us safely through the day. The hot temperatures were taking a toll on tires. We saw at least ten cars with flats along the Interstates today.
The heat can be almost unbearable at times:) I completely understand. We saw the St. Louis arch last year on our way out here when we moved. Just wasn't quite as hot that day...
