On Saturday we left Sterling Heights, MI and the Detroit area and headed west toward Lake Superiour. We drove around the southerly tip of Lake Superiour and around the city of Chicago, Illinois. We then proceeded northwar to Antioch, IL. There Pastor and Mrs. Barrett hosted us in their home. We so enjoyed their whole family.
On Sunday we presented the ministry to Heartland Baptist Church during Sunday School and then ministered in song and preaching the Word of God in the morning meeting. The Lord gave great liberty. People testified that the Lord had worked in their hearts and blessed them. Only God! We stayed the entire day with the Barrett family and attended church that evening with them. We had addittional reason to praise the Lord when the pastor put us before the church for support, and the church gladly voted to support us. We are very pleased to welcome Heartland Baptist Church of Antioch, IL to this church planting partnership with our Chegoggin Baptist Church and other sacrificing churches.
