Sunday, January 12th, 2014

On Sunday morning we attended Metropolitan Baptist Church in Fort Worth.  We did not have a meeting scheduled to present the ministry in the AM but enjoyed being with MBC.  We really appreciate MBC allowing us to stay in their missions house for a couple of weeks while we are in Texas.

In the afternoon we drove to Wichita Falls, TX and spent a profitable evening with Grace Baptist Church and Pastor Danny Taylor.  I presented the ministry and preached the Gospel.  The Lord gave liberty.

We have been thoroughly enjoying the temperatures in Texas.  Forgive me for seeming to gloat, but it was 75 degrees F on Sunday.   I am not minding that one little bit.

If you will please note on the right hand side (top) of this blog, and the very bottom, is a button to follow me on Twitter  (@StraightGospel).  This is my first foray into Twitter, but I am investigating it as an evangelistic outreach tool.  You can help by becoming a follower (get a twitter account) and re-tweeting my tweets.  If you get your lost friends, family, etc. to follow you they will receive what will amount to a Twitter Gospel Tract.  There will be Gospel content for them to read and watch.  It will take me a little time to get up steam.  Since this is a social media it expands and touches more people by telling more people.  You are part of that.

  1. Hello Brother, we were very glad to hear of your safe arrival in Texas. From -10 to +75 is quite a variance, but I am sure you will manage. God bless
